Newtone's Heritage range has been specifically designed to have a balanced and lower tension across each set in comparison to 'standard' sets. Newtone are well recognised for using round cores in many of their sets, and the Heritage sets are no different. What does this actually mean? Well there are numerous advantages to having low tension strings. One of the biggest advantages being an increase in comfort and playability, especially important for players suffering from arthritis or tendonitis. There's also an added advantage for players that use vintage guitars with light bracing as these strings won't twist the neck or pull on the bridge.
