Martin Authentic Acoustic Marquis strings are designed specifically for pampering your guitar. A soft silk wrap is added to the ball ends of the strings to protect the bridge and bridge plate from the wear of steel when playing. And, like the SP range, the core is Martin's highest tensile-strength which is then tin-plated for corrosion resistance (including the non-wounds). The cores are then wrapped with Martin's highest quality 92/8 Phosphor Bronze wire which consistently delivers a warm, full and balanced tone.
