Mango wood is a popular choice for ukulele construction because of the consistency and balance tone it delivers.

It's varieties can offer incredible variations of figuring.

The Lani LT-55MO ukuleles are constructed from mango wood with a flame figured mango veneer.

Although mango wood can vary in colour the Lani LT-55MO Mango ukulele has an orange lustre.

A distinct benefit of mango wood is that it is considered very eco-friendly as some Mango plantations harvest the trees for lumber after they have completed their useful fruit-bearing lifespan.

See below for more details.

The traditional shaped body has  a decorative concentric Abalone ringaround the sound hole for added visual appeal.

As mango is a relatively hard wood it produces a similar but not quite as bright tone as maple but with a little more warmth.

The LT-55MO ukulele has a mahogany neck with a rosewood finger board  which is cleanly fretted with and inlaid with acrylic pearl dot position markers.

Inlaid Rosette around soundhole.

The headstock has a mango veneer which along with the neck and body satin finish.

The bridge is rosewood with an acrylic saddle and neatly cut string slots for easy re-stringing.

As with all Ukuleles in the Lani range the LT-55MO ukuleles are fitted with a set of super high quality Aquila Ukulele strings  widely acknowledged as the best ukulele strings available today.
