Folk in Harmony Book 2

The tunes offered here with accompaniments for piano or harp are chosen from those that are popular with Northumbrian pipers, especially in their first years. They are to a large extent taken from the repertoire of the Longframlington Village Pipers. Two melody booklets are included: one for Northumbrian pipes or Bb instruments, the other for any non-transposing instruments e.g. flute, violin or recorder. Tunes include: The Herd On The Hill, Gentle Maiden, The Sally Gardens, Jimmy Allen.
